HEAR THE PRAYER OF A MISSIONARY
Lord, please raise men to bring comfort to your servants on the mission field. Men like Joses (Barnabas),a Levite from Cyprus - Acts 4 :36
Lord,where are the sons of consolation? Please revive them and help them to overcome sleeping sicknesses.
Lord you see those men who think missionaries are jobless, Lord please relieve them of their present job and give them another job in a terrain like ours so they may taste of the cup and understand it's not about being jobless.
Lord, you see those who despise in their innermost heart, please let them keep despising so that tables can turn. That they may see their reality of folly. If they refuse to repent on time.
Lord,those who usually preach that "the God that sends them will provide for them" just to defend irresponsibility in the kingdom. Please strip them off their pulpit and position and send them to the bushes of souls as well. Including their family members.
Lord, please quietly whisper into the heart of your people that they may arise and support the great commission instead of supporting lesser fruitful religious routine activities that don't influence the great commission.
Lord, please open the eye of every genuine believer in their offices, edifices, workplaces, worship places, businesses to know that the greatest impact they can make is to rescue others and establish the kingdom of God wherever they are.
Lord, please open the eye of your people to understand that their secret of success is to support the great commission and the missionaries who are uncomfortably doing the uncomfortable work in uncomfortable places.
Lord, help your church to be more organized so they won't keep spending/diverting missionaries fund at organizing other juicy programs that can fetch them money, fetch them fame/publicity.
Lord, you know your missionaries are administratively helpless, and they can't talk, so it won't be like they are agitated. Please wake every church organization to begin prioritizing on improving the welfare of their staff.
Lord, please do not allow anyone and their generation who remember to personally support Your great commission go down. They won't go down. They won't go down. Lord, they won't go down but higher up forever. This is your covenant.
Lord, presently, your churches are more focused on their headquarters. Lord, can you please scatter them? Just like you did to them at Jerusalem? They may scatter out and enter places where the people are yet unreached.
Lord,it is good to build towers for your glory. But Lord, the concentration of towers in reached places isn't really made helpful for unreached places. The towers now operate like capitalists. They are becoming richer while their branches are becoming poorer in context (not in content).Lord, please help your church to overcome capitalistic tendencies.
Lord, please raise genuine intercessors who will not give their eye to sleep for a portion of the night time everyday just to see Thy Kingdom come upon the lives of others. This is actually every believers duty,oh that Your people can arise!
