HOW TO SPOT HYPOCRISY ANYWHERE

HOW TO SPOT HYPOCRISY ANYWHERE
(By Latunde Akin)
The most sophisticated instrument of darkness isn't sin of adultery, stealing, worldliness or any physical wrong you can detect.
It is HYPOCRISY.
Anything you can easily detect is not as dangerous as anything you cannot detect easily.
So you should by now understand why discouragement, lukewarmness, distraction, procrastination, doubt and fear are not easily tagged as sin. Simply because they hide under the skin. And they are more dangerous, devastating and evil than those outward sins many people think God has more problems with.
Reason deception is worst is because those who carries it and those who are manipulated by it may never ever know, except God helps them. Aside those who are purely possessed to intentionally decieve.
Hypocrisy can be detected by those who are discerning. But no amount of brain work has such capacity to detect it. Suspicion is brainwork, not spirit work. If you keep suspecting, your soul will eventually be lean and weary. You can't sustain your limited perception by just being suspicious, else the devil himself will finish you flat.
1. First understand that every good attitude towards you doesn't mean the person is good. Until you actually know what is powering the goodness. Flesh,God,or Satan.
God can use anyone for you,but you should be careful Satan can use anyone for you too. So try and spot people who overdo goodness. Anything excessive is not balanced. It may be a cover up.
2. Eye service: once you spot people behaving differently at the back, but show up before people as good. That's a clue of pure deception
3. You will see people praising someone instead of telling the person what's wrong. Hypocrisy
4. When you see someone trying to cover up his sin or sin of others. That's Hypocrisy.
5. Backbiters, backstabbers, and rumor mongers. These are category of people who talk too much.
6. Possessed people are great pretenders. You can't detect them unless by their mistakes and through God opening your inner eye. These people are always looking perfect outwardly. They look so holy but just to decieve. They can be more physically dedicated than the genuine ones just to cover up. But they make mistakes too,and only the discerning will not just commonise such mistakes. There is always a great tendency for people who don't see beyond their nose to trivialise such mistakes.
And you know one funny thing?
This last category must be handled with greater wisdom. There is a weapon you don't only use to fight them. You don't use only weapon of power. You will use weapon of wisdom, strategy and the word. Weapon of love can work for the first four category but your love can't deliver a possessed man. You will need warfare, and the best wars are won not by power, but by both wisdom (strategy)and power.
It's very easy to seperate from wrong people but not from wrong spirit. Infact, spirit of hypocrisy doesn't repent.
So it takes only God to deliver such people through any means He wants to use.
If you look closely, you will discover diplomacy is not near hypocrisy. Being diplomatic is simply a strategy to relate with people without hurting them. Hypocrites end result is to hurt without being detected. Anything you can study in school is not hypocrisy. Diplomacy is a study which can be used in both a good way or bad way. It shouldn't be mixed up with hypocrisy which is a spirit.
The church denominations are mostly filled with Hypocrites. Many business offices too are filled with them. We shouldn't only think of churches, we shouldn't be decieved to think Hypocrites are only interested in churches. That's a big lie.
Our duty is to simply align properly with God in serious fellowship, consecration and holiness. So that we can escape the trap Hypocrites set all around and much more,so that God can use us to rescue or reduce them.
God bless you for comprehending.
May we not fall into self deception. May we not cover our sins. In Jesus name. Amen
