"IFURA LOOGUN AGBA"
Watchfulness is the senior brother of Prayer.

If you are not a person who is both spiritually and physically observant. You will enter into a trap of people who are simply out there to steal,kill and destroy and you won't still know.
This is because such people smile always and are most of the time friendly. They build your trust in them with the mind to later strike at a time you won't be able to escape or least expected.
If you don't build your capacity in God now,it will definitely show after such people strike. You don't have to offend such people before they strike.
Infact you can be very good to them,and it doesn't mean that they won't still want to fulfill their evil target.
You can't change them by your good doing. Just that you must still keep doing good because that's part of what God will use to defend you when your obedience is complete.
Reason I said doing good isn't enough is because
The presence of IGNORANCE in any person doing good has that capacity to neutralize the good he is doing. Destruction is what always follows lack of knowledge which is ignorance.
Your keen observation about whatever is going on around you is called WATCHFULNESS. This is a duty from God to everyone just like PRAYER.
There was someone I was praying and interceeding for. Oh you will think she's genuinely seeking God's intervention. I went to her with other ministers and on getting there,she gave us bottled water to drink. I told them to keep the water in the car and never to drink anything. Others didn't know what happened till today,I didn't tell them unless they are reading from here.
After we finished the Intercession and dispatched everyone. All the bottles were punctured on their cap cover. You understand now, another substance was inside the water and it would have been a bad situation if not for God's help to practically observe.
Another incidence is with a close family member who brought raw foods and coconuts for us as part of visiting gift. As I thanked him and after the whole visit. I told my wife to bring everything they brought so we can pray on them. As I was praying with eyes opened,I observed the coconut well and discovered all of them were pierced at the one of the 3 dots on top of them and were perfectly corked with wood so the water inside them can't spill out. I showed my wife and she was literally shaking.We have to discard them all.
What am I saying? This is the very reason why a lot of people are sick and they don't know the source. I mean terrible sickness that their treatment takes only God or huge spending on medical solutions. Something that should have been avoided by keen observation or watchfulness.
Yoruba people used to say " ifura loogun agba".
"Watchfulness is the medicine of mature people ".
You don't live your life suspecting people. You don't live in suspicion. This is going to weary you out.
Watchfulness is your ability to be alive in God and practically detect danger or traps before time and avoid them still smiling without destroying good relationships. Suspicion will make you destroy good relationships. That is the difference.
May your spiritual man become so developed to be watchful. May mercy locate all of us always.
Prayer is for curing. Watchfulness is for preventing.
So watch and pray. Your guardian angel you must hear. In the midst of woes you are. Watch and Pray!
