THEN IT MEAN HE SHOULD TRY AND VISIT GURU MARAHAJI OF NIGERIA TOO.
Get me right, there is absolutely no sin in visiting people of other religion.
That doesn't lead to or mean compromise.
Many people complaining about Pa Kumuyi visiting other people of interfaith religion don't actually understand it doesn't mean one is compromising or trying to join them promote ecumenism.
What I see there is kingdom influence for God as long as it promotes the gospel and open doors for genuine missions.
Jesus ate with Pharisees and Saducees. That didn't mean Jesus compromised. Infact people labelled Jesus wrongly that time too. But if tell you,Jesus was able to rescue some of those people. Example was Nicodemus and even Pontius.
You see,gospel is not about just preaching and preaching. Preaching is just 10%,living it out is 90%. Most times we see preaching as the major means of rescuing others. NO, many times we just need to show others genuine love and leave the rest to God.
I remembered it was food,beans and bread that a brother actually used to win my heart to attending Deeper Life Campus Fellowship. I was born again before the time but I was so hungry and he fed me without knowing i was hungry.
What pastor Kumuyi did,many people who are missionaries or spiritually inclined will understand. Sole of Pastor's feet alone touching that ground is very spiritually bombarding and possessing. You all will soon discovered the ground God used Pastor Kumuyi to break later or in heaven.
Yes those who criticise his act may simply be physically right, they may not be spiritually right. But I can tell you,the man of God has done nothing wrong.
You should know me now,I tell things straight. Yes Pastor Kumuyi has history of many bad silrnt attitudes that many don't know publicly. Which I happened to narrate few months ago . Not for bantering but for history and understanding that holiness isn't what we behave but what God conferred on us. No matter how we try to behave well, we can't be bodily perfect. So there is no need to mix holiness with behaviour.
On this visit, Pastor Kumuyi is not wrong. He is simply fulfilling his earthly and heavenly mandate.
I won't be surprised to see him paying a good visit to GURU MARAHAJI too along Ibadan-Lagos express bush. If the Lord allow it,I know certain grounds will be broken too spiritually.
The problem of Christianity is that we see ourselves in the confine of that religion. So we are not really prepared to show genuine love to others outside it. And the power of God is no more moving through us across the land again.
Why should Christian discriminate if truly they have genuine intentions to be useful for God in places that are yet to be taken for Christ?
I am a missionary, an intercessor. We have been interceding since 877 days for cities,souls and nations. God is interested in using us on grounds Satan has taken. But many of us are afraid to go there. We fear what people will say. So pathetic.
Compromise is simply a personal choice and not a corporate choice. None can compromise by showing others genuine love. And as long as you're not a lone ranger like Samson.
May God preserve Pastor Kumuyi till the end. Amen
