THEY DECIDED NOT TO JOIN OTHERS TO CHEAT IN WAEC AND PASSED GALANTLY.
My twins had their exams last year and we decided to test all what we have been training then with.
I told them when I was in S.S 3 writing my WAEC, my father came to the exam hall to give me expo. I told how I used my eye to flog my father out of the exam hall. He left feeling so shameful.
At that time I was just 9 months old in faith of Jesus who saved me completely. First thing I noticed was that all my senses and brain became so transformed. I could understand all I read better than when I wasn't born again. So it was a different ball game for me never to compromise my stand.
I remembered when I got home that day,he said ""omoburuku,o dojutimi" olori kongba. Meaning
bad child, you disgraced me today. I laughed and told him never to do that for me again. Three months after, he surrendered to Jesus too. So my persecution didn't last longer as a person from the other religion.
When my twin children was 7 years old. I remembered I personally ministered salvation gospel to them and led them to pray through to salvation. It was easy for them to see their parents living according to God's will and much more we discipled them to grow at their level.
They came home one day and told us that their school authority allowed malpractices. They allowed students use Android phone during exam and other things. They asked them to pay certain amount everyday for supervisors.
When we asked their opinion, they said they had told the school authority that they are not interested in anything shady and won't pay anything.
My joy became full. I rejoiced that my twin girls were able to stand their feet on matters of integrity. They represented Christ and rRighteousness well.
Yes,they are growing and not perfect. Yes,there may be areas they aren't yet strong enough in. But in this aspect of refusing to do exam malpractice. I give it to them. The made me proud.
The school authority thought their result will have issues. They told them the school won't be blamed for any bad result from them. My children laughed it off.
When the result was released, they both passed all the subjects GALANTLY. I hardly see any Cs,they got A and Bs .
I once told other parents about wasting money to send children to big big schools when they knew it's beyond capacity. I advised rather they get competent private lesson teachers to teach those students at home. That was what I did and my children even performed far better than those who spend 500k per term for school fees. My children school fee isn't more than 70k but there are private teachers I pay every month to train them more.Which means in a term, I don't spend more than 150k on each person. See the wisdom?
Oga,calm down and borrow yourself brain. It's not how much you spend on children's school that matters. It's how they are closely well trained in those subjects. If you can get same quality of training for them with moderate fee,why wasting resources you can use to do other things?
I remembered throughout my secondary school, I studied using local lantern we called "shade". No electricity in my town. Thieves stolen the cables in my town and close to 20 years we didn't have power. Yet we passed the exams, though with much stress. So I don't see any reason why spending so much money now determine success. No,it is your wisdom ,discipline, prudence and how you train them that's key to success.
I a missionary, so I can't afford to waste resources. The gospel mission works are always in need of resources. We are called to rescue others, and never to live for ourselves.
If you know any scholarship opportunity for schools abroad for schoolcertificateholders, please get in touch inbox. Right now,the children are preparing for A levels.
In a world where people compromise their good and godly standards all because of success. Please I advise you not to do. Because on the long run a compromise against integrity will create a void in your life. Unless you returned to God for mercy and turn to a new leaf and a new lifestyle.
In God.
God bless you and Happy Sunday.
