A grand deception is going on amongst many churches now.
Many like to preach what will increase their membership, but what will scatter those members abroad to go and disciple others,they won't want to preach.
Some like to preach the finished work of Jesus (salvation) and other added juicy benefits.
But to preach the unfinished work of Jesus, which is MISSIONS. They won't want to preach it so as to keep cycling their membership because of love for fellowship and benefits of fellowship.
They forget fellowship isn't the ultimate intention of God,but Missions. Reaching the unreached and discipling all tribes of people.
Do you know most churches now prefer holding crusades in cities where people are already reached with the gospel. What is the motivating factor around this?
May I tell us that many great men have lost focus. Bible study is good, but what use is Bible study that keeps feeding people to stupor? Much knowledge, less practicalities. Many don't even have Bible study anymore. They would rather sing, motivate,dance, and enjoy speaking in tongue.
This deception must cease amongst us. if we must become fulfilled by taking the gospel personally to others,we must stop building empires.
Another deception is making merchandise using the church all in the name of establishing businesses. Using religion to make ourselves rich at the expense of doing the real work of missions.
What is the real work of missions? Focusing on people's need for salvation and discipleship more than focusing on big projects building or big crusades that don't reach places that are yet unreached.
Brethren, if you won't deceive yourself, you will discover that your brain has been wired to always attend services or programs every day but never to scatter to go places and preach the gospel.
Romans 15:20 says, " My ambition has always been to preach the Good News where the name of Christ has never been heard, rather than where a church has already been started by someone else."
From the above,can we see how far we have gone at deceiving ourselves?
And even those who are trying to scatter themselves into those unreached places, we don't financially support them. We complain by saying that organising big programmes and projects are demanding much finances. So we neglected the real deal just because it's not FASHIONABLE!
God will judge a lot of us this neglect if we don't repent.
Believer in Christ, please I adjure thee to arise personally in support of missions and missionaries. If you can't go,let your virtues,and your blood go! Your money is your blood! It is your virtues and it speaks louder on the field of souls. That is if you can't go because of your career and work. You can determine to pray for the work as well at a schedule time of the day.
If you're not intentional about doing your part,you're simply wasting your life attending fellowship just to please yourself and not God.

In whichever way,do not let the deception of churchianity gets into your head. The Lord is going to ask you personally about your impact in His kingdom after He had saved you from sin,Satan and sickness.
In a local government where I know. There are big churches in the town whereas,in the neighbouring settlements of about 169 villages,I was suprised to discover that,there is no gospel around there. The people are starked unbelievers. Yet none of big churches want to go there!
We should not be decieved. We we reap what we sowed. God is waiting for us to sow in tears of compassion for souls. By this,we are reaping in a great harvest for God.
Not in deception of FELLOWSHIP in over-ripe places ,but in the penetration of FIELDS that are ripe with genuine gospel outreaches and support.
