This old landlady in a house I lived in Lagos will wake in the middle of night and be cursing people in her room silently.
I had always thought it was night vigil and she was a prayerful woman. Until one day I overheard her mentioning real names of people and raining curses on them.
Of course, nobody will hear her when it gets to the cursing aspects and mentioning of names of people. But I had to place my ear on her wooden closed window for me to hear the content of her utterances well.( I sabi that thin well
)
Which means, I left my room and went outside at midnight around 2 a.m. to deliberately listen to her silent utterances. Something prompted me to do so.
Sometimes you have to be very sensitive about things around you and go extra mile to investigate things personally before you assume people are good.
When I started hearing, lagbaja and lagbaja will not make it, lagbaja will kpai, and all sorts of negative utterances. I nearly urinated on the spot.
So people will think this woman was actually prayerful, they won't know she is into a very subtle witchcraft.
II didn't tell anyone till date I think. What I did was to be very careful till I packed out of the house. She didn't mention my name in the utterances I heard in that night, but she mentioned names of her other tenants and laid curses on them.
Get me right, I know curses won't affect those who are spiritually strong enough to wade it away. Yes I know may be one or two people that lived there and came out better. But many didn't come out better in that house. They struggled under such witchcraft domain.
What makes things worse was that many of us were ignorant about what is witchcraft. We think witchcraft activities are purely when you see people confronting you with juju or hating you.We didn't know people can be smiling at us and that smile could be full of witchcraft. We didn't know, people can be using prayer to practice witchcraft.
The day I discovered, was the day I stopped believing everything I see verbatim. I learned how not to be decieved by religious people anymore.
People who will look so religious but very silently evil in their imagination.
People who look so friendly but are only pretending.
People are actually deeper than what we see on the surface,including me and you too.
We must just be very certain on whose side we are. Either God or Satan.
To you who are experiencing serious struggle in a particular aspect of life. Please check whether the network of "negative prayer warriors" are not assisting other "prayer warriors" from your former place.
What you simply need to do is not to engage in any physical reactions or fight.
What you need is a total surrender to Jesus who can fight for you.
And the wisdom to live carefully in consistent prayer of divine direction.
Yes,it may mean changing of location, but the most important is that such network isn't working against you anymore anywhere you go.
Let God guide you better.
