The car summersaulted three times and the Lord delivered me out unscratched.
This was the second time I glaringly experienced raw angelic intervention. And this is how it happened.
Then I was using a Toyota corolla and I was driving to Ile-Ife. I had prayed with my wife and bid her off because it was always a about week trip.
It happened i had to first visit University Teaching Hospital in Ibadan for a business meeting. As I was driving out,I met an old woman by the exit gate. I looked at her standing helplessly and tired of waiting. I had to slow down my driving and stopped the car by her side.
I asked where she was going to? She said along Ibadan- Ife road. I didn't know her from any where but I told her to enter the car.
Upon entering, she told me she retired as a teacher from the destination I was travelling to. But she is not going there . She alighted along the express.
But before she alighted, she thanked me so much for taking notice to help her. That she was exhausted and lacked transport fare. She said stood at the spot I met to pick her for about 2 hours. And many people have driven cars out without stopping to help her.
She then prayed for me and specifically told me never to overspeed with the car but drive carefully. That nothing will happen.
She alighted and I continued driving just as she instructed. Without any hole on the road,or any bump,without over-speeding. The car simply lifted itself on the express road and summersaulted three times.
At that split of seconds, I felt it was a film. It was close to Asejire dam. And people around the vicinity thought the driver would have gone to heaven.
Another surprise was that at the time of the incidence, no car,bus or lorry was coming,the road became vacant
. Else it would have been a bit clashing with other cars.My car tumbled upside down with the tyres up and roof down.
By the time i came out from the window side,the car screens had been broken and damaged .The people who came to rescue were still looking for the driver. They couldn't believe it's me. I came out unscratched and the people started to shout and asked how possible. They recounted on the same spot nobody has escaped being crushed before. They started asking if I had any juju or what? Until they see my bible, they started shouting praise God.
They helped turned the car back to its feet. Fixed the tyres back and started the car again. The car started immediately. They drove the car back to Ibadan before us while I was inside another car following them.
When i entered the house without the car,my wife asked why wasn't I travelling again and where was the car? I simply told her it developed faults. It was on the second day I told her what actually happened. My twins were not up to a year then, so they wouldn't have physically know their father if not for that divine rescue.
Till now,I keep praising God for the divine rescue. And I pray that God will help me fulfil His purpose in Jesus name.
Lessons
1. I believe that old woman I helped at the exit gate is an angel in human form. Angels don't appear in a form you will suspect. Angels do posses people too,it's not only demons that possess people. You must understand how to keep doing good,because you don't know you may be helping your helper.
2. No evil can overcome any man who is under God's coverage.
3. A simple prayer from people who are possessed by angels from God, Spirit of God and anointing. Especially after you have done good to them goes a long way into activating safety, healing, success and glory around your life. You may not see it,but it's happening.
4. A lot of people are perishing because they couldn't recognise angels around them.
5. Those God sent to help you are people you may be thinking are in need of your help. If you're not careful you will think they are burdens to you without suspecting your help is far smaller to what they will do for you later.
As a missionary, God once told me to keep hiding from people so they won't suspect a word from my mouth is a game changer. That I should rather behave as if nothing is happening. Even when He sent people around to support the work. Then I understood, there are actually people God places among people without people suspecting them.
Today makes it 833 days,and 698 days we have been praying and interceeding for brethren, missionaries, people and nations every night in two different groups.(all voluntarily and never for any reward)And God is also looking for you to join us as we don't have any date to stop.
