GOD IS TELLING YOU TO WEEP FOR THEIR SOUL.

GOD IS TELLING YOU TO WEEP FOR THEIR SOUL.
HARVEST IS PLENTY, LABORERS ARE FEW.
(By Latunde Akin)
There are crocodile tears,.
There are compassionate tears.
There is a kind of sorrowful weeping.
There is a kind for joy.
There is a kind of weeping that moves the entire heaven.
There is a type that can't even move a mosquito. In fact if your tears are too salty sef, mosquitoes will come around to taste it.
Weeping is an instrument of emotional expression and communication which speaks volumes than words.
The deepest kind of prayer is a type that is done with GROANINGS WHICH CANNOT BE UTTERED. This is far and more deeper than even speaking in tongues. At least you are speaking something when you speak in tongues. But groaning is another level entirely deeper than that. That's the kind I meant as weeping.
I pray that the Lord helps His children to grow up to this level. Amen.
Scriptural texts
John 11:33-36, 2 Chronicles 34 :27.
Jesus wept in John 11:35. Lazarus was dead and they told Jesus. He wept and rose Lazarus from the grave. His weeping sent a clear cut message to heaven.
Can God respect and respond to our tears like that?
Abraham sent Hagar and the lad away with only one bottle of water and a bread. Both of them were crying looking for water but the Bible says God heard the cry of the lad and not that of his mother.
Can your cry be heard at all by the Lord over a situation that warrant rescue of yourself or someone?
Let us tell ourselves this truth please. Are we not becoming so harden in the heart as a result of disobedience to the Lord about the Great commission?
A reward for every disobedience is surely a reprobate heart. And a reprobate heart God can never regard, respect or respond to no matter how the weeping endures.
Weeping may endure for a night.... is never applicable to reprobate hearts. If you like, keep weeping in disobedience, no Lazarus will wake from the grave around you. You are only making devils to rejoice more by your tears into their calabash for donations
But there is a groaning that the devil fears. A groaning in the Spirit over souls of men.
A genuine compassion for the lost
A humble heart that weeps before the Lord day and night for the salvation of souls.
A broken spirit and a contrite heart.... God can't despise.
Believers in Christ, where art thou?
Is your heart of compassion now dead?
Are you going to remain like that?
You have been disobeying the Lord all these while and your reward has been a dead hardened reprobate heart.
If we stop that disobedience today, I am sure our God is faithful to restore us back to where we started at Calvary. He will restore our genuine lost tears back.
OUR DISOBEDIENCES.
1. We can't go ye again to preach the gospel.
2. No more striving for mastery in spiritual exercises and in God.
3. We take pleasure in socializing more than the work of rescuing souls.
4. We can no more groan in the Spirit. We have lost our encounters.
5. We love to be busy in the church at the expense of lost souls. We care more about the 99 left than the 1 lost.
6. We left the field of souls for the wolves.
7. The harvest is plenty, but the few laborers are sleeping on duty.
8. We have become like the religious Jew and the good Samaritan in us is dead.
9. Instead to humble ourselves and weep before the Lord, we are in turn making the Lord to weep from heaven over our unprofitable lives.
10. We keep crucifying the Lord Jesus over and over again by not living a lifestyle of love that can win others. We take delight in Pulpit or speaking without showing the lifestyle.
Many may think God does not weep too. How can the God who created us in His image put emotions in us to feel and He will not be touched by the infirmities of those He created? Nay.
He is always touched too. He feels too. He experiences sorrow too over the people He created.
Hebrews 4:15
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
We need to arise and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
We need to weep for the soul of men by interceding for them in our closets.
God is looking for intercessors. Will ye be one?
God is looking for men who would have compassion to rescue others from the valley of sin. Will ye be counted worthy?
God is looking for laborers who would not be sleeping a spiritual sleep of death. Will your dry bones receive life?
God is looking for you. Yes you that you are reading this. Will God find you or you remain unfound?
Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people! (Jeremiah 9:1)
Oh that God will find me and you faithful to arise and begin to ask for mercy upon our souls that are like dry bones. To receive life afresh and go out immediately in search of the missing sheep.
As for me, my mind is made up, gazed up, my eyes fixed upon the cross, to obey and to carry. That my siblings, neighbors and friends who are getting lost may be saved. No turning back, no turning back. I have decided.
How about you?
Let us pray.....
Jesus, restore our dry bones, that we may live again to fulfill the great commission. Restore our lost and dried tears, the kind that is regarded in heaven and not in hell. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
